  7.    In  these  hindmost  years  InterNet  has become the true fashion of the
  8. informatic:  to the mother of all the nets, in fact, are added each day new
  9. users,  inclined  by  ludicious  purposes  or  job  necessities.  Users has
  10. discovered  how  it is possible to obtain each kind of information, in real
  11. time,  at  a simple phone call cost (when necessary).  Each firm by now has
  12. its  HTML  pages where publicizes its own products and establishes a direct
  13. thread  with  the  costumers.   The  word  "NetSurfer"  has  been  created,
  14. indicating  who  likes  travelling  with  the help of a browser between the
  15. thousands of WWW existing pages on the net.

  17.    Sometimes,  however,  it could happen that it is necessary to find out a
  18. single page, an image or a file; so, surfing through the net with a browser
  19. seems  to  become  harder and slower.  In these situations HTTPJ becomes an
  20. indispensable friend!  Any example?

  23.  ·  Using a predisposed script, it is possible to download the last world
  24.     news  page  from the net, convert it in ASCII format and visualize it
  25.     with a normal Text Viewer.

  27.  ·  BBS  SysOps  could  have  on line the pages with the timetable of the
  28.     trains, airplanes, undergrounds, always up-to-date.

  30.  ·  With  the  help  of  a  script, it is possible to teach our mailer to
  31.     download  a  file  announced  in a message, directly from its support
  32.     site.

  34.  ·  Equally, the tonight television programs list could be had.

  36.    Only the imagination could limit the use of this program, chiefly useful
  37. for Sysops that want to supply their users always up-to-date news.
